Jurassic park the ride orlando
It seems like careful attention was paid when combining these Jurassic World elements into a Jurassic Park land. The new coaster will feature characters and dinosaurs from the newer films, including Owen and Claire, and Blue the velociraptor. The waterfront area and bridge leading towards the attraction now play Jurassic World’s original score by Michael Giacchino, replacing music from The Lost World: Jurassic Park by John Williams. The Jurassic World VelociCoaster will expand upon the Jurassic World offerings in Orlando. Plus, the raptor trainer’s new uniform features a Jurassic World logo and the voice over explicitly says “welcome to the Raptor Encounter at Jurassic World.” (Not to mention the fact that you’re meeting Blue from Jurassic World at the attraction.)
It is subtle, but the signage for the new Raptor Encounter is in blue, and the new area features electric fence and corrugated metal walls that are straight out of the Jurassic World film’s style guide. Obviously with the new coaster opening this summer it’s pretty clear what route they chose to go with, (if that rumor is to be believed, of course). It has been rumored for awhile now that Universal Orlando was faced with the choice to either convert their River Adventure ride to Jurassic World, just like Hollywood was doing at the time, or start work on the roller coaster they had been designing. With a brand new roller coaster based on the Jurassic World franchise opening on June 10th at Universal’s Islands of Adventure in Orlando, many assume that a complete re-theme of the park’s Jurassic Park land is inevitable… But, I wouldn’t be so certain. The ride is so impressive in fact, that even those in Orlando that were unsure before now seem to want their version of the river ride to be converted as well. Jurassic World: The Ride’s updated finale and middle scenes have been impressing riders since the attraction soft opened to guests recently at Universal Studios Hollywood. Now that we’ve seen the final version of the Jurassic World ride in Hollywood many are asking when Orlando will see its version changed over?
